Experiences & Explorations

This page is a collection of explorations and other projects. Some done for fun, some for work but each a moment of personal learning, shaping the designer that I have become. If something interests you, I'd be happy to share more.

Save the Date

ILLUSTRATION | WEDDING INVITE

A wedding invite that I designed for a couple of friends. For this, I drew an illustration that would reflect their personality and capture their fun-filled journey, framing all their special moments together. Working on this made me realize how much I enjoyed illustrating.

Fun with Arduino

PHYSICAL COMPUTING | ARDUINO UNO | TIMER

This project is my foray into physical computing. Made with Arduino Uno, 'Wasser' is a timer that reminds people to drink water at regular intervals and stay hydrated. It is made with simple blink and button functions which means that Wasser can't speak just yet. Though, it is super expressive with its eyes and what matters is that he cares. =D  * Wasser is german for water.

Understanding Service design

USER & VALUE FLOW MAPS | SERVICE BLUEPRINTING

This is a project I had done for my service design seminar at CMU. We were studying service business models and while making the user and value flow map of the organization, I discovered how satisfying I found it to break down complex information into engaging visuals. See Project.

Livery Design

VEHICLE LIVERY | GRAPHICS | INDIAN RAILWAYS

I had the privilege to design the livery for India's first all-electric, made-in-India locomotive. Working alongside the transportation design team at Tata Elxsi, I made the graphics to compliment the new all-electric engine being designed by Alstom for one of the largest railway networks in the world, Indian Railways.
